Join the Library’s Summer Reading Club: Dive into Reading! Explore oceans of stories, log your reading, and complete activities to unlock rewards and prizes all summer long. 

Reading Clubs

Adult and Teen Summer Reading Club | June 1 through August 15
Adults 18 and up | Teens Entering Grades 9, 10, 11, or 12

Participate by reading a book, attending a program, or supporting a local business. Complete 5 activities and submit your reading log. You can keep going to earn up to 25 tickets!

Youth Summer Reading Club | June 1 through July 31 
Birth through Entering Grade 8

Participate by building your reading habit all summer long! Every 10 days of reading earns a prize. Complete 30 days of reading to finish the challenge and earn a book of your choice plus additional prizes. Keep reading to earn bonus prizes at 40, 50, and 60 days!

Logging Your Participation

There are two ways to participate and log your participation. Stop by the Library to pick up your print log or download your log online: Adult and Teen Reading Log and Youth Reading Log. You can also sign up online and track your reading digitally through our Beanstack Summer Reading site or through the Beanstack app.

How to Use Beanstack

• For new users signing up through our Beanstack Summer Reading site, click "Register an Individual or Family" and complete the prompts.
• For new users signing up through the Beanstack app, click "Yes" on the home screen and search for Lake Bluff Public Library. Click "Sign Up" and answer the questions.
• For returning users, if you already have an account, sign in using your username and password.
