The Children's Department of Lake Bluff Public Library provides current, responsive, high-interest materials and programs throughout the year for children through Grade 8.

We offer a variety of well-chosen fiction and non-fiction books in hardcover, paperback, and eBook/eAudiobook formats. The department also houses a wonderful collection of magazines, DVDs, Blu-rays, and CDs that can be enjoyed by children and their families.

The department programs include the annual Summer and Winter Reading Clubs, Preschool Storytime, and other special programs throughout the year.

Reader's Advisory for all ages is a top priority of the Children's Department of the Lake Bluff Library. We are happy to offer suggestions for reading and viewing materials, as well as "read-alike" choices, for every child.
