$5000 Grant Awarded to the Library for Community Engagement

This week, Lake Bluff Public Library was announced as one of 28 recipients awarded with a "My Library Is" Grant from Reaching Across Illinois Library Systems (RAILS).

The purpose of these RAILS  grants is to support projects that help tell the library story and increase visibility and support for libraries. Learn more about the "My Library Is" grants funded by RAILS in their press release.

Lake Bluff Library will receive a $5000 "My Library Is" Grant to fund engagement efforts that will support community participation in the Library’s upcoming facilities and strategic planning efforts. Community members will have opportunities to participate in online surveys, drop-in open house events, focus groups, and more starting this summer and throughout the rest of 2024. Look out for more information in the Library's Summer 2024 Off The Shelf newsletter scheduled to arrive in Lake Bluff residences in June.

The Library would like to thank RAILS for this award and for their ongoing support of libraries. We look forward to your help planning the future of the Lake Bluff Library!
