Welcome to Winter Reading Club!

Winter Reading Club will run from December 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026 for all ages.

Yeti or not, Winter Reading Club is here! Grab abominably good books, log your chilling reading adventures, and stomp into a blizzard of Library programs to earn monstrously fun prizes.  Sponsored by the Friends of Lake Bluff Library.

Complete the Challenge

Winter Reading Club is complete once you log 5 activities—that’s the goal! Each activity earns a raffle ticket.

• Adults (19+) and Teens (13 - 18): Earn a $5 gift card to Hansa Coffee Roasters and 5 grand prize raffle tickets

• Children (0 - 12): Earn a small yeti toy and 5 grand prize raffle tickets

Log Your Reading

Starting December 1, readers of all ages can participate in the Winter Reading Club by tracking their activities with Beanstack or a paper log. All reading counts—books in any format, reading aloud to someone else, and attending a Lake Bluff Library program.

You can choose one of two ways to track your progress:

• Use Beanstack: Sign up and log your reading online at Beanstack or through the Beanstack app.
• Use a Paper Log: Pick up a printed log at the Library or download one here.

How do I sign up for Beanstack?

If you’ve used Beanstack before, simply log into the website or app using your existing credentials.

If you’re new and signing up through the website, click “Register an Individual or Family” and follow the prompts.

If you’re new and registering through the app, tap Yes on the home screen, search for the Lake Bluff Library, then tap Sign Up on the login screen and follow the prompts.

Once you’re logged in, you can register yourself and your family for the 2025–2026 Winter Reading Challenge!

Want to Keep Going?

After you’ve finished the challenge, keep logging activities to earn extra grand prize raffle tickets—up to 25 total.
