History Museum
The Lake Bluff Public Library has shared a building with the Lake Bluff History Museum for the past twenty years. This partnership began with a successful drive to raise over $1 million to build an addition to the Library.
Roughly everything east of what is now the building’s main entryway was built as part of this effort; it houses the Museum's collection and an expanded Children's Department. The Museum officially opened its doors to the public in 2002 and operates as a primarily volunteer-run, nonprofit organization focused on preserving and sharing the history of Lake Bluff.
