Teens
Library services for teens are overseen by the Youth Services department at the Lake Bluff Public Library. We offer popular, high-interest, and well-reviewed materials as well as year-round programming and volunteer opportunities for teens in grades 8-12.
We strive to connect all teens with materials that interest, inspire, and engage them, as well as provide a safe, supportive space where they can be themselves.

Programming Announcement
The Library offers several different types of programs:
- In-Person Only: These programs are offered in-person at the Library or another location.
- Hybrid Programs: These programs are offered in-person at the Library and will also be streamed live on Zoom. You can attend however works best for you!
- Virtual Only: These programs are offered online only, either through Zoom or another platform such as Facebook Live. If you cannot access virtual programs at home, contact the Library to discuss possible accommodations.
Please note: All in-person programming is offered in compliance with state and local guidance on gatherings. In the event that the guidance on gatherings changes, the Library will update its programming plans to ensure the health and safety of staff and patrons. Any changes made to our programming schedule will be posted on the Library website as soon as possible.
