The mission of the Lake Bluff Library is to act as a vibrant community center that provides materials and services to enhance individual knowledge, offer personal enjoyment, expand technological resources, and facilitate civic interaction. (Mission Statement, Approved by the Board of Trustees in May 2013).

We gratefully accept a variety of donations. Donations are also accepted through the Friends of the Lake Bluff Library and the Lake Bluff Public Library Foundation.
The Friends of the Lake Bluff Library is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that benefits the Library. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The Lake Bluff Public Library Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation founded to help the Library with capital improvements, raising funds through campaigns targeting specific needs.
