Board of Trustees Seeks Executive Search Consultant for Library Director Recruitment

The Lake Bluff Public Library has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Executive Search Services to recruit, interview, and select a full-time Library Director. The Library is inviting qualified firms to submit proposals by October 18, 2024, as it seeks an experienced partner to guide the search process.

The selected search firm will work closely with the Library’s Board of Trustees to identify candidates that align with the Library’s values of accountability, accessibility, and diversity.

Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, and pricing. After a thorough review, the Library aims to select a firm by October 25, 2024, with the search for the new Library Director expected to conclude by March 1, 2025.
