The Lake Bluff Public Library extends our sincere gratitude and appreciation to Trustees Kathy Meierhoff and Jon Heintzelman who will leave the Library Board of Trustees at the conclusion of their terms this May.

Trustee Meierhoff was elected to the Library Board in 2011; after serving as Secretary, she became Board President in 2013. A former social studies teacher at Lake Bluff Middle School, Trustee Meierhoff’s time on the Board has been distinguished by her strong sense of fiscal responsibility and thoughtful leadership.

Trustee Heintzelman joined the Board in 2019 after a long career in professional fundraising and Board-level leadership in higher education. His expertise in fundraising and quiet good humor have been a tremendous asset to the Library in his time on the Board.

The Library is fortunate to have had these distinguished community leaders as part of our Board and we are grateful for their service to the Library and the community.
