Ages 5 – 13

Sharpen your pencils, prepare your paper: it’s time for the 38th annual writing contest and the 35th bookmark design contest!

Contest Rules

Writing Contest

Children in grades K – 8 can submit a short story or poem on any subject they wish. First place winners will receive a copy of the 2024 Phyllis Fox Contest Winners Book.

Bookmark Design Contest

Children in grades K – 8 can design a bookmark. First place winners will receive 50 professionally printed copies of their bookmark.
